Intro Essay Topics - More Than Just An Exposition
In most cases you can't determine exactly what your intros should be until the last minute. That is why you need to know what to write about and what not to. While you could write in the first person all the way, that isn't really recommended.
The first person does not allow you to explore other aspects of your life, whereas the other does. You need to write in a way that readers will get the message.
A novel level of storytelling is fine. It can delve into your personal thoughts and be very moving. However, it doesn't really go far enough to provide any information or provide insight. Your reader may get all you say and skip the rest.
The best thing to do in these circumstances is to write about subjects you have already researched or thought about. The idea behind this is to set the stage for a follow up essay topic. Once you are done with this one you can do another one on a related subject.
When you write you need to include these subjects in order to provide answers.
